New York City at Christmas | Andrea Rodway Photography Travels
Ever since I was a little girl I had always dreamed of going to New York City at Christmas. The city just seems so magical with all of the stores decorated, Radio City Music Hall and especially the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree. Matthew surprised me for my birthday this year with a trip to NYC and I was sooo excited! NYC is one of those cities that it's best to not jam pack your visit. Make a list of your must do's and enjoy the rest. It had been a few years since I'd been up to NYC and I had never been there around Christmas time, so we definitely made our way around the city. Time Square is a bit overwhelming and we like to just breeze through the major tourist attractions. We went there at night for a quick pic and then Ubered over to The Empire State Building to see the city at night. I highly recommend going at night! There literally was no line and it was just gorgeous!
One of the BEST places to eat in my opinion was Birds & Bubbles which is exactly as it sounds. The most amazing friend chicken and southern comfort food you'll find in NYC and champagne! Make your reservation quickly because there are only a few tables and you will definitely want to enjoy this culinary experience! We also made our way over to Katz's Delicatessen which is an NYC MUST DO! The line can be long, so be sure to know ahead of time what you're going to order and have a lookout for tables! This place gets packed!
I took a mixture of iPhone and camera photos, sometimes I just like to unplug and take in the city, which I can't recommend enough! I love you NYC!
