When our friends Corey & Jenni asked me to be their wedding photographer I was beyond thrilled! We've known Corey for years and when he met Jenni and we first met her, we knew she was special. These two are adventurers! They run, climb, ski, and I'm certain next on their list is either hang gliding or paragliding. They both are DC transplants to the Denver area and we are sooo jealous that they get to wake up every morning and see the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Maybe someday Matthew and I will move out there! Either way, their move was a good excuse to fly out for a visit and do their engagement session at the Golden Gate Canyon State Park, located in Golden, Colorado. We had an absolutely beautiful morning to hike around and lucky for us they had already scoped out some places for photos! Towards the end of our morning, we hiked up a climbers trail and these two climbed a little for me. If you know Corey, any chance he gets to climb something he's totally in. I'm a tiny bit scared of heights, so this was definitely a first for me! The light and the scenery was to die for! This was so much fun and we are so happy for these guys to become husband and wife in October! We are definitely looking forward to some ski trips this winter!
